Bugsy Shutterbug will be exhibiting CINEMATIC CITY and other images in Lisbon.
Cinematic City is a collection of street photographs taken by the author to imitate movie film stills. The text antagonises the viewer into creating a narrative around each image.
As a child I played a game with my mother making fictional backstories about strangers.
Cinematic City is an evolution of this.
Cinematic City é uma coleção de fotografias de rua tiradas pelo autor para imitar fotogramas de filmes. O texto instiga o espectador a criar uma narrativa em torno de cada imagem.
Quando era criança, brincava com a minha mãe a criar histórias fictícias sobre estranhos.
Cinematic City é uma evolução disso.
